Construction fit-out of the Pilot Training Facility for Royal Australian Air Force commenced in January 2017 and completed in February 2018. Broz Contracting were engaged for the Ceiling, Partitions, Doors, Frames and Hardware packages across 17,000m2 footprint.
Project highlights:
- Perforated acoustic ceilings randomised edge to edge pattern
- Full height heavy gauge metal studs
- High level fire walls and shaft liners
- Suspended ceilings grid
- Flush set plasterboard margins with perforated ceilings and tiles
- Curved bulkheads
- MDF pelmets
- Pressed metal doors, frames, hardware including fire doors for over 460 door sets
- Hangar fire doors at 3.6m high
- Bondor panelling
- Soffit Kingspan insulation
- Lining for external cladding
